As our tour participant, you have the unique possibility to enjoy an afternoon on the river. About 45 min from your hotel in the town of Schladming is where the adventure begins. Schladminger Rafting Tours provides all the gear necessary – wetsuit, helmet, boots and life jacket. After donning the appropriate attire, your tour bus will take you upstream to the boarding point of your rafting spree. After thorough instructions are given by our experienced rafting guides, ride the current in groups of 8-10 people per boat, each with their own guide on-board. Rapids, narrows and even a small waterfall ensure excitement; the tour is tame even if you have never rafted before. Depending on the water level, the Enns River near Schladming is a 3 or medium on the difficulty scale. Horseback Riding (Day 14 - morning) BACK to TOP   Back to Customizing itinerary Join your fellow travelers for a ride on horseback through the scenic landscape that surrounds our Alpine Center south of Salzburg. A short bus ride from the hotel takes you to the town of Altenmarkt. A skiing resort in winter, it offers plenty of magnificent riding trails in summertime. Our stable, Reitstall Scheickgut, will accommodate any proficiency level of rider, novice to experienced horseman or woman. After selecting a horse and saddling up, you will ride in a group on trails, along rivers and across Alpine meadows – total riding time 50 min. The stables are home to 30 horses (from Appaloosas and ponies to thoroughbreds); all animals are equipped with ENGLISH SADDLE.
