Sports Equipment |
| Each destination has a sports shop offering equipment rentals.
Skis and boots or snowboard and boots prices vary from area to area. An advanced skier needs stronger more stable equipment to grip better on steeper icier snow. Advanced equipment is more expensive to rent. Children’s equipment and cross-country ski equipment are usually somewhat cheaper. |
Approximate
Cost: |

| If
you wish to purchase ski equipment (Austrian made skies, etc.),
most shops have test equipment available. Ski apparel can
be purchased in many shops, but rental is limited. |
| Rental for more days: Ski or Snowboard rental for just 1, 2, 3 or 4 days has to be day by day. However, for 5 or more days, a deal with the sports shop can be arranged through your Snow Shuttle guide to avoid renting skis on a daily basis. |
| All prices given are guidelines not fixed prices. Although some businesses accept credit cards, many in the mountains do not. Please be sure to have some cash available. |
