AESU's enhanced insurance benefits cover medical expenses, baggage and trip cancellation expenses for covered reasons. It also provides coverage for trip cancellation or interruption due to terrorist acts which occur within 30 days of the scheduled departure date in a city that the passenger is scheduled to depart from or travel to during their trip. To be eligible for this coverage, the passenger must purchase the travel protection plan within 7 days of the initial deposit/payment for their trip.
