Excursion to the Douro Valley

Switch to a different mode of transportation today and join us an all-day adventure through the Douro Valley vineyards. Walk along part of the old Régua/Lamego train line, overlooking the Douro River and the city of Peso da Régua. Hop on a bike and enjoy amazing Douro landscapes. We travel this beautiful route in a valley of one of the rivers that flow into the Douro. The landscape alternates between vineyards, olive groves, small forests, and occasional villages. Some experience and dexterity is needed to navigate dirt tracks and some winding paths. Afterwards enjoy a tasty lunch of local ingredients and taste some of the delicious wines of the region at Quinta da Avessada in the Favaios vineyards.

Horseback Ride on the Beach

On our way from Lisbon to the Algarve coast you have an opportunity to join us for a horseback ride at Praia Melides! This ride will connect you with nature as you are guided across meadows, dunes and coastal forests. This tour is open to all skill levels and guides will ensure your safety throughout the tour. We will be riding Portuguese bread horses, called Lusitano and ride in English style. Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
