Experience Breathtaking British Columbia on AESU’s Outdoor Wonderland Tour

Outdoor Wonderland Tour AESU

AESU’s new Outdoor Wonderland tour will see you exploring the best of British Columbia, such as Sooke Potholes Regional Park.

We here at AESU are excited to announce our fourth and final new domestic tour to debut in 2021: Outdoor Wonderland – British Columbia! Starting in Vancouver, long known as one of the most diverse and livable cities in the world, and continuing on to the wilds of British Columbia in places like Sooke and Victoria, the Outdoor Wonderland tour is perfect for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Come join us in exploring some of the best that Canada has to offer next year!

Vancouver

The tour starts in Vancouver – not just an urban hub of the Canadian west coast, but also within a comfortable distance to many of British Columbia’s finest wilderness destinations. Our tour welcome dinner will take place on the city’s famed waterfront and the next day sees the group explore Stanley Park and its famed collection of totem poles. After a bike trip along the Seawall, you’ll have some free time to explore the city’s various neighborhoods at your leisure or join us for an excursion to the beautiful Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

Victoria

Next, we take a ferry from Vancouver to Victoria, home to Butchart Gardens and the second-oldest Chinatown in North America! With over 55 acres of floral displays, Butchart Gardens is a must-see for any traveler to Victoria. We will also explore Victoria Harbour in the evening, home of the Royal BC Museum, the Empress Hotel, and the Parliament Buildings. Compared to Vancouver, Victoria is much more laidback and old-school, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore it at your own leisure before we embark for Sooke.

Sooke and the Wilderness of BC

In Sooke, we’ll explore the Sooke Potholes Regional Park which features amazing geological formations you have to see to believe! From here we will take a trip to Nanaimo to the Horseshoe Bay ferry before continuing on to Squamish. Squamish is known for its great kite-surfing and rock-climbing scenes – we’ll be taking a picturesque gondola ride to the summit of The Chief, enjoying the view before making our way back down. The tour concludes in Vancouver with a stop at Granville Island, famed for its bohemian atmosphere and home to several cafés, art galleries, theatres, and more!
